Bobritzsch-Hilbersdorf/Freiberg, 17.09.2021. Sabowind together with interested members of the energy cooperative EgNEOS put the public solar park in Bobritzsch-Hilbersdorf into operation on 17.09.2021. Susanne Koschker, board member of the energy cooperative, was allowed to start up the plant with the official switching commands, wearing an arc-repellent jacket and protective goggles in accordance with regulations. The guests learned a few things about the construction of the plant and inspected the transformer station, the function of which was explained in detail by Maik Hoffmann, Safety and Health Coordinator (SiGeKo) of Sabowind.
After commissioning of the project, a flowering meadow will be planted on the module area as a compensation and replacement measure, and hedge structures will be planted.
With this project, the first citizen participation for a free-field photovoltaic plant in Central Saxony could be successfully implemented.
The public solar park has a nominal output of 749 kWp and can thus cover the annual electricity requirements of 323 households in the surrounding area. Sabowind Service is responsible for the operational management, maintenance and direct marketing of the solar park.
