On 24th March 2014 we were granted the official license for the generation of electricity for our wind farm in Zuromin/Poniatowo. With the issued license the special purpose vehicle Windenerg Sp. z o.o., JAR3 Sp.k. was registered as electric power company. After we have completely finished the construction works on 3rd March 2014 with receipt of the official use authorization we were able to fulfill the necessary requirements for the receipt of the operating license of the three wind energy turbines of REpower MM92 with 100 m hub height in only three weeks.

The special purpose vehicle Windenerg Sp. z o.o., JAR3 Sp.k., a subsidiary of Sabowind GmbH, will operate the three turbines on its own. The technical and commercial management will be taken over by the company Sabowind Service GmbH.

The wind farm is located in the high wind area of central Poland and will supply energy to appr. 4.800 households and will reduce appr. 12.600 tons of carbon dioxide per year.

For the implemen­tation of the project the special purpose vehicle Windenerg Sp. z o.o., JAR3 Sp.k., received benefits from the European Cohesion Fund within the incentive “9.4 Production of energy from renewable sources, infrastructure and environment”.

On 3rd Jan 2014 our three wind energy turbines of the type REpower MM92 with 100 m hub height at the location Żuromin in Poland were put in their test operation and have already produced appr. 1 Mio. kWh clean electricity since then. We expect the official operating license for mid of February 2014. After the official commis­sioning we will operate the 3 wind energy turbines on our own. The technical and commercial management will be taken over by our Polish subsidiary eab windservice sp. z o.o. in Bydgoszcz.

Since mid-May we are working intensely on the erection of our wind farm „Żuromin“ in Poland. Our 6 MW project is located in Poniatowo, which is part of the community Żuromin. After planned completion in December this year we will operate the 3 wind energy turbines of the type REpower MM92 with a hub height of 100 m on our own. The technical and commercial management will be taken over by our Polish subsidiary eab Windservice Sp. z o.o. in Bydgoszcz.

After a successful public call for tenders at the beginning of this year we awarded a contract for delivery, construction and commis­sioning of 3 turbines MM92 to the turbine manufacturer REpower. The construction of infrastructure and foundations as well as cabling and grid connection are carried out by MEGA SA, a Polish building company with seat in Gdynia. Currently the infrastructure is being established at the wind farm site and the turbine erection will start in October.

For operating the wind farm the special purpose vehicle Windenerg Sp. z o.o., JAR3 Sp.k, a subsidiary of eab Projek­t­man­agement GmbH, receives benefits from the European Cohesion Fund within the incentive “9.4 Production of energy from renewable sources, infrastructure and environment”.

Our still young Polish project development company eab energia wiatrowa Sp. z o.o. has achieved another success in the Polish Wind sector. In addition to the first wind energy project Inowrocław consisting of 16 turbines Vestas V90-2MW another project with 10 turbines Vestas V90-2MW and 105 m hub height is ready for building including the connection to the medium-voltage power grid of 15 kV.

The project of 20 MW consists of 5 single sites that are situated in the Central part of Poland in Wielkopolski, Kujawsko-Pomorski and Mazowieski. At the moment the financing process is under way and the project shall be realized at the beginning of 2011.
