Wind energy is growing worldwide. Europe as strong marketplace stays the number one region for wind energy. The Free State of Thuringia aims to reach a green electricity percentage of 45 until the year 2020. – Where the energy journey in Germany will go to and where wind energy will stand is the central question of the event “Wind.Energie – Mitteldeutsche Branchentage” on 14th and 15th October 2014 in Erfurt for the third time. The two-day symposium with accompanying exhibition puts the most important actors into the focus and tries to clear comprehensively open questions from local authorities, citizens and involved companies. Besides the networking of political, economic and academic actors practical questions like load management, storage and grid extension are in the focus of the fair.
