Construction work on the third ground-mounted photovoltaic park began this year at the start of August. With a rated power of 40.9 MWp and a transformer station to be built specifically for the grid connection, this project in the town of Dippoldiswalde is the company's largest to date. The plant is scheduled to go into operation at the beginning of next year and feed in 46.000.000 kWh of solar power per year.
At the same time, construction work on the Kleinschirma solar park with a nominal power of 20.8 MWp is almost completed and commissioning is scheduled for October. In the municipality of Schwarzkollm, the open-space photovoltaic park with a rated power of 14.76 MWp is due to be connected to the grid in November.
All three projects have received an EEG subsidy, with profitability improved by additional electricity supply contracts.
With these 3 PV parks, the Sabowind Group will significantly expand its project portfolio by 77 MWp and thus generate 85,600 MWh of renewable electricity annually, enough to supply 28,500 households with green electricity.
