Sabowind erects three wind turbines as general contractor in wind farm “GI Lohe”
Vielau, 6th of March 2017. Sabowind GmbH expands the priority area for wind energy in “GI Lohe”, located near the city Zwickau and close to the motorway A72, about three wind energy turbines up to a total capacity of six turbines. The projection of the wind turbine Vestas V126-3.3 with a hub height of 137 meters and 3,300 kWh was made by Sabowind GmbH. The other two wind turbines of the type Vestas V117 with a hub height of 141.5 meters and 3,450 kWh were projected by a local company. As a special service Sabowind assumed the building process for these two wind turbines. At the beginning of March 2017 the foundation work of the wind turbine Vestas V 126 started. Until June 2017 the building process will be finished and the wind turbine will go into operation.
It is planned to start the construction for one of the two Vestas V117 in May, 2017.The second turbine has to pass the auction process to get an EEG-funding. After success the building process can start. The three wind turbines will provide together clean energy for around 6,000 households.
Afterwards, Sabowind Service GmbH will be responsible for the technical and financial management.
Sabowind GmbH offers also other project developers and investors the realization of their projects. As a general contractor, Sabowind is responsible for the complete realization process and available for special topics like tender of building trades, site management and health and safety coordination.
