Following on from the sale of the first eab wind energy project in Poland at Inowroclaw, which marked the company's successful entry into the neighbouring country, subsequent projects are now being speedily planned and developed. The implementation of the first project with its 16 Vestas V90 turbines began as planned in June. Most of the foundations have already been laid. Vestas has started delivery and assembly of the machinery and plant engineering. The project will be fully completed by June 2009 by a Polish-based company so that it can be sold to a Danish fund provider. "eab is now focusing on bringing new wind energy projects in Poland onto the market. The political and regulatory framework together with our experience of working there over the last two years as well as the expertise and commitment of our employees all provide excellent opportunities," explains Dr. Sack, Managing Director of eab Projektmanagement GmbH. The aim is to start construction of the second project in the middle of next year.
