More than 50 MW brought to the grid by Sabowind until September 2017
Freiberg 21st of July. With 140.000 MWh this year alone Sabowind makes a significant contribution to the renewable energy production in Germany. Since the end of June already 20 MW have been brought to the grid with four wind energy plants in Saxony and three in Thuringia.
Due to a well-organized coordination and cooperation with the construction companies, an active support of the turbine manufacturers in logistic affairs as well as a successful site management it was possible to erect and commission nearly all plants within only 5 months despite of interruptions due to poor weather conditions.
Currently the construction works for the 30 MW wind farm in Luko / Saxony-Anhalt go full speed. The first wind energy plant of the project cooperation between the planning companies Sabowind GmbH and VSB Neue Energien Deutschland GmbH is already finished. All twelve wind energy plants in Luko as well as another one in Vielau (Saxony) will be commissioned until September this year and provide green electricity to appr. 30.000 households.
