10 MWp solar park for Bobritzsch-Hilbersdorf
Freiberg, August 11th, 2020: Sabowind receives an acceptance of tender for “Solar park Niederbobritzsch GmbH & Co. KG” of the Federal Network Agency from July 1, 2020 and will build and commission the photovoltaic system with a generation capacity of 10 MWp next year.
The free-standing photovoltaic system is being built in Bobritzsch-Hilbersdorf (Saxony) on an agriculturally disadvantaged area in the district of Niederbobritzsch, along the Dresden-Chemnitz railroad line. The basis for the realization is the adoption of an existing development plan for photovoltaics from 2012. The “Solar Park Niederbobritzsch” will generate almost 10,000 megawatt hours of environmentally friendly solar power annually. Sabowind Service GmbH takes on the operational management, maintenance and direct marketing of electricity for the solar park.
"For Sabowind, the solar park in Niederbobritzsch is a further step in expanding its own power generation portfolio and making a contribution to environmentally friendly power generation on the doorstep of the office location," emphasizes Sabowind managing director Mandy Bojack.
Sabowind is a full-service provider for wind and solar projects at domestic territory and abroad and has so far brought projects with a total nominal output of 430 MW to the grid.
