Go-ahead for new project in Poland
After the public tendering the supply contract with the turbine manufacturer Senvion for 2 wind energy turbines of the type MM92 with 2.05 MW and 100 m hub height for the project Naklo has been concluded on 15th December 2014.
The site is located in the voivodship Kujawsko-Pomorskie, 28 km to the west of our Polish office in Bydgoszcz.
The start of the construction works for the 4.1 MW project is planned for spring 2015. Therefore the wind turbines can be put into operation in the III. quarter of 2015.
The financing of the turbines is supported by the Polish support programme of the nature protection fund NFOSiGW. Sabowind will operate the 2 wind turbines on its own in the special purpose vehicle Windenerg Sp. z o.o., JAN4 Sp.k. The technical and commercial management of the turbines will be carried out by Sabowind Service GmbH.
The implementation of the project is supported by the agricultural commune. Public roads will be reconstructed and modernized, much to the delight of the local community members.
