eab Projektmanagement GmbH celebrated the festival "21. Tag der Sachsen" from 7.-9. September 2012 together with appr. 470.000 guests in Freiberg in the federal state of Saxony representing a joint stand with the association "Verband Erneuerbare Energien Sachsen e.V." on the Renewable-Energies-Mile.
The main attraction of our stand was a 70 m high crane with kind support of the crane company Lippmann from Kirchbach near Oederan. The guests that were free from giddiness had been uplifted in 70 m height by the crane and could experience how it is to look out from the "head" of a wind energy turbine. With a full rotation of 360° the courageous passengers had the possibility to make some snapshots over the roofs of Freiberg. For this spectacular view, that under sunny skies reached to the horizon, they filled our cash box for a good cause.
eab Projektmanagement GmbH donated the entire cash receipts from the crane in the amount of 2.600,- EUR and additional donations from donation boxes in the amount of 413,- EUR for the children’s playground in Albertpark in Freiberg. The donation has been officially handed over to the city council of Freiberg at the meeting on 13. September 2012 (see picture above: Opening of the donation boxes with the mayor of Freiberg Bernd-Erwin Schramm and Co-Managing Director of eab Projektmanagement GmbH Mandy Bojack). With the total amount of 3.013,- EUR a swing will be financed. It is planned to erect it at the beginning of next year within the first construction phase of the children’s playground in Albertpark.
"We are very happy that the result of our campaign will become visible by the erection of a separate playground equipment in the form of a swing in Albertpark", Mandy Bojack, Co-Managing Director of eab.
While the parents experienced the view in great height, the little ones could be creative in doing their own windmills and modeling their own wind farm. Furthermore, all our staff members answered and discussed all questions regarding wind energy to the interested people.
We cordially thank Helge Christoph and Hans-Jürgen Astl from the company Kranservice Lippmann GmbH, all donators and assistants, the association "Verband Erneuerbare Energien Sachsen e.V." as well as Enercon GmbH for the active support!
