On 26th April 2014 the nationwide “19th Day of Renewable Energies“ took place. We participated again in this event with an information booth at the market place in Oederan and answered various questions about wind energy to interested residents. We were happy to note that there is a continuous growing interest compared to last year.
The „Day of Renewable Energies“ was launched in 1996 by the Saxon community Oederan. This initiative taking place allover Germany at the anniversary of the reactor disaster in Tschernobyl, presents the different exploitation methods of a sustainable energy industry. There are companies and operators of solar thermal systems, solar power systems, wind energy turbines and hydroelectric power stations participating in the regional energy fair in Oederan taking place traditionally on last Saturday of April.
The basic principle and aim is to present many of the exploitation methods of renewable energies to a broad public to attract for acceptance and imitation as an entry in a decentralized energy supply on the basis of renewable energies. For more information please click here.
