A wind energy turbine in the neighborhood

The wind priority area in Zug/Langenrinne is located about 3 km away from the Sabowind’s headquarters in Freiberg. Sabowind has already implemented three wind energy turbines of the type Enercon E-40 in the priority area for wind in 1996 and 2002.

We chamfer the wind farm by a further turbine of the type Enercon E-53. The wind energy turbine has a hub height of 73 m, a rotor diameter of 53 m and a total rated power of 800 kW. Therewith, the turbine is able to provide about 580 households with green energy.

Currently, we are finishing the foundation in order to start the tower assembling in the end of November. The implementing of the wind energy turbine is planned for this year.
