Renewable Energy for more than 3,000 households in Saxony and Thuringia
Since November 2015 Sabowind has implemented and grid connected three wind energy projects in Saxony and Thuringia.
In Wernsdorf Sabowind had put a further wind energy turbine of the same type as the already existing turbine of Enercon E-82 into operation at the beginning of the year. The turbine has a hub height of 138 meters and a rated power of 2,300 kW.
The wind farm in Zug was also expanded by a further wind energy turbine of the type Enercon E-53. The turbine has a hub height of 73 meters, a rated power of 800 kW and is operating close to the headquarters of Sabowind GmbH in Freiberg.
In Tanna/Thuringia a wind energy turbine of the type Enercon E-92 with a hub height of 104 meters and a rated power of 2,350 kW went into operation also this year. The already existing wind farm was extended up to three wind energy turbines.
Through the erection of the additional turbines altogether about 3,100 households can be supplied with renewable energy and further the existing wind areas are used to their full capacity.
