The history of Sabowind as a company stretches back 30 years. Founded in 1991 as a small engineering firm, the company came of age and continues to grow with renewable energies. Sabowind has been making successful contributions to climate protection since 1993, when it built its first wind turbine. As an experienced full-service supplier and operator of wind energy and photovoltaic installations, Sabowind will also continue to realise sustainable renewable energy concepts both in Germany and abroad in order to make a decisive contribution to the energy transformation and climate protection. Our services for wind and solar installations will likewise grow, such as our location in Poland.
Sabowind as owner-managed and independent project planner, operator and service provider:
- Plans, builds and operates wind and solar farms and handles maintenance and management of the installations
- Two locations: in Freiberg, Germany and Bydgoszcz, Poland
- A team of 48 experienced engineers and specialists
- 270 wind turbines with 440 MW output have been implemented to date
- 10 photovoltaic projects with 16 MWp output have been implemented
