Data privacy statement
Our website can be used without providing personal data. Data is only collected on a voluntary basis if entered into the contact form. We handle this data in accordance with the regulations of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG).
Server log files
The web space provider records data about each time the offering is accessed (referred to as server log files). This data includes:
- The name of the web page accessed
- Date and time of access
- Transferred data volume
- Notification of successful access
- Browser type and version
- The user’s operating system
- Referrer URL (the page visited prior to this one)
- IP address and enquiring provider
The provider uses the log data solely for statistical analysis for the purposes of operating, securing and optimising the offering. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if it has concrete evidence supporting justifiable suspicion of an unlawful use.
Cookies are small files that allow specific, device-related information to be stored on the device which the user is using to access the offering (PC, smartphone or similar). These benefit the user by improving the user-friendliness of web pages (e.g. by saving login data such as under Customer login). They are also used to record statistical data about website usage and to analyse it for the purpose of improving the offering (see “Web analytics”). The user can control how the cookies are used. Most browsers have the option to limit the storage of cookies or to prevent them from being stored at all. However, the user is advised that operating without cookies limits the use and in particular the ease of use of the offering.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer to help analyse how you use the website.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the United States of America (USA) and stored there. If IP anonymisation has been activated on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within the area of the Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of this website, compiling reports on website activity for the operator of this website and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.
