Dresden/ Freiberg/Luko, 29th of September 2017. In the framework of a project cooperation between the wind energy project developers Sabowind GmbH and VSB Neue Energien Deutschland GmbH the wind farm Luko went into operation on schedule. The construction of the twelve energy plants of the type GE 2.5-120 was beginning in April this year.
Since a few days the wind farm fit in well with the landscape near the city Coswig (Anhalt). The extensive planning activities started in 2010 and ended successfully with the permission from the district of Wittenberg (Saxony-Anhalt) to erect and operate twelve wind energy turbines. “We strongly believed in this project and found with experience and awareness for the interests of all participants an excellent solution”, said Markus Brogsitter, CEO of the VSB Neue Energien Deutschland GmbH. Also the partner Sabowind feels pleased and praised the fast realization: “Due to the good cooperation between VSB, Sabowind and all with the construction entrusted participants we have succeeded in realizing the project in a record-breaking time of six months”, told Dr. Rainer Sack, CEO of the Sabowind GmbH.
Both companies will be connected to the wind farm in future. Firstly, with completing measures to improve the nature and landscape in this area, second, with the technical and financial management of the wind farm. Both companies support the places Luko and Thießen with a donation of 10,000 Euro. They will use the money for the refurbishing of local playgrounds.
